Fall Plants

This database of annual flowers are what we consider to be the best performers for the time frame of September through February. Each plant varies in its usage depending on light and soil conditions. More information on each plant is available below.

Interesting Facts

  • Geraniums need weekly “dead-heading” of used blooms to promote further blooming. Also, do not over water as they will stop blooming all together.
  • Hollyhocks are a unique addition to your more visible annual beds. Use as a backdrop to other annuals as they can reach 4’ tall!
  • Some plants are more cold tolerant than others. We can provide our best recommendations for your area as well as frost cloth.
